Google, with little fanfare, has announced the launch of the Smart Light Starter Kit. In short, it is a real kit including the smart speaker Google Home Mini and a smart bulb C-Life made by General Electric. The idea behind this kit is to allow people to approach the world of home automation at an affordable price. The Smart Light Starter Kit is on sale for 55 dollars, currently only in America.

Users, therefore, can start using Google Home Mini not only to listen to music or to perform small operations through Google Assistant but rather to control the smart bulb remotely through the use of voice commands. A way, then, to become familiar with solutions for smart homes.

Alongside the Smart Light Starter Kit, Google has also announced a small change in its well-known Nest Learning thermostat. Big G, in fact, will propose this product in three new finishes to better adapt it to the design needs of the houses: black mirror, brass and polished steel.

Finally, Google has also improved the interaction between Home Hub and a series of smart appliances such as iRobot's robotic vacuum cleaners.
